#23: Andrew Johnson
Becoming president of the United States is a big task, so we can’t imagine coming into that role through a technicality. The 17th president of the United States, Andrew Jonhson, was president from 1865-1869, following the assassination of former president Abraham Lincoln.
Even though he was an honest and good Democrat man fighting for the rights of many, Johnson was no match for the Republicans in Congress at the time trying to push him out of office. Unlike many other presidents, Johnson grew up in poverty and was somewhat self-made. But with an IQ of 138.9, he wasn’t doing too badly…
