#17: Chester Arthur
There have been many distinguished and dignified presidents of the United States. However, not all of them have always had the goodwill of people in mind. The 21st president of the United States, Chester Arthur, worked hard to stop the political corruption that was rampant at the time.
After having attended Union College and finishing with an IQ of 141.5, many people expected big things from this intelligent man. Arthur was president for the duration of 1881-1885 and even continued to run for the presidential nomination in 1884 even though he knew he was enduring a fatal kidney disease.
