#34: Grover Cleveland
When it comes to U.S. presidents, many come from affluent backgrounds that could afford them to attend college, have a good position in society, and be seen as a different kind of person to lead the nation. However, that isn’t the story for every president… Grover Cleveland, the 22nd and 24th president of the United States, was the first democrat elected after the Civil War.
Before Grover Cleveland, there was no other Democrat to ever serve as president. Not only was Cleveland the first at that, but he was also the first president to leave the White House and come back at a later stage and do another term as president. His IQ was 130.9, which is considerably high for someone who couldn’t afford college.
