#4: Monet’s Venetian Interlude (1908)

Taking a break from his garden at Giverny, Claude Monet and his wife, Alice, enjoy a weird vacation in Venice. Monet’s art came to life as a result of peaceful moments just like these. One of his final major series of paintings was inspired by the canals’ light and reflections. This demonstrates how taking a break from routine may revitalize our creativity.
