#10: Mad” Jack Churchill (1906–1996)

A British officer in WWII, Churchill believed traditional weapons never went out of style. He stormed battlefields with a longbow, bagpipes, and a broadsword, becoming a legend. Captured and later escaping, he fought with unmatched flair. His famous motto? “Any officer who goes into action without his sword is improperly dressed.”
