The Hungarian noblewoman earned the nickname “Blood Countess” after being accused of killing hundreds of young girls. Legend says she bathed in their blood to preserve her youth, though historians debate the scale of her crimes. Either way, her reputation cemented her as one of history’s most notorious villains.
