As legendary as his on-screen persona was Klaus Kinski’s temperament. In an attempt to stop the insanity, renowned collaborator Werner Herzog once considered firebombing Kinski’s trailer. In one of his epic attacks, Kinski even fired a rifle into a tent full of annoying extras. Locals offered to actually k*ll him during a particularly tense jungle shoot.
