#19: Instagram Crowding
The Rialto Bridge, St. Mark’s Square, and canal viewpoints can turn into human traffic jams because everyone wants the same shot. Instagram did not invent overcrowding, but it definitely gave it choreography. People stop, pose, block paths, repeat, and chase the exact image millions already have. The city becomes less a place to experience than a backdrop to capture. Venice was once a republic. Now it has tripod bottlenecks.
