So Is That a Yes?
If you have seen Mulan, then you are definitely familiar with the relationship Mulan has with her dad, and how he forbade her from going to war due to the fact that she is a girl, and girls don’t fight. But as this tweet points out, there are a few inaccuracies that pop up at the very beginning. Inaccuracies that could be due to it being a cartoon or perhaps not inaccuracies at all.
As the film continues, Mulan is faced with constantly having to hide her identity and that she went to war in place of her father, against what her family would have wanted. This is where it gets suspicious… her father had pointed out where his war sword and armor were stored, which is a pretty odd thing to do if you know your child wants to go to war instead of you.
