Refrain from requesting that the tables be turned.
Asking the waiters to move the tables to some other corner of the restaurant, especially when the food is served, doesn’t seem to be a big issue to us, but this isn’t the case. As restaurants work by dividing the restaurant into a few sections and then allocating waiters and waitresses to particular sections for the night. So if you ask a server to move the table to some other corner of the restaurant, it might disrupt the functioning of a restaurant and can mess up the flow of its functions.
In this way, the server might end up losing the potential tips or it may get way too overwhelming for the other waiters. This isn’t a very bad thing if it’s a slow night. But we as customers should avoid asking the servers to move the tables, especially on the weekends or when they are busy.
