Technically Correct
When speaking about compromises in a theological context, your professor isn’t asking about how your parents couldn’t decide between Mexico and Hawaii. They’re asking what sort of worldly gifts you’ve compromised your faith for. At least, that’s what we got when we attended the first week of a theology course.
But to be fair, the professor did ask what compromises your parents made, and no one should reasonably expect you to know for certain. That said, we don’t think the Bahamas is a compromise in this scenario. It’s an upgrade. In our humble opinion, the Bahamas is much more enjoyable than Hawaii and Mexico, but that’s based on looking at pictures on Google images.
