Monarch approval is a must to marry.
Like all the other items we have seen about it’s not new that most everything in the royal family is dictated by the Queen herself. Marrying with the monarch’s approval, that for now is the Queen Elizabeth of England, isn’t a common courtesy; certainly, we did not expect this at all.
Still, according to the Royal Marriage Act of 1772, the royal descendants must seek approval from the monarch, even before they can propose to their potential partner. Now we think Kate Middleton and Meghan must have gone to great lengths to impress Queen Elizabeth, given the fact that they came from nonroyal families.
