Spreading His Wings
It was common knowledge that he was kind and generous, and that the connection he had with Brooklyn was an example for others to follow. There were now millions of people who were aware of this. The vast majority of people were oblivious to the fact that in addition to his job as a garbageman, he also toiled away assiduously during the nights working on something else.
In point of fact, he was making preparations to move into a completely different field of employment. Because of all the hard work he had put in and the dedication he had shown, he was finally on the verge of making progress toward his goal of having a life other than driving a garbage truck. He attributed this to the fact that he had put in all of the effort he had shown.
