Taking Climate Change Seriously
Even in the wild, animals’ ability to preserve self-sufficiency is clearly demonstrated by their behavior. In one particular case, it was even able to keep them going for an incredible four years! Attempting to learn more about how this Octopus (and many others of a similar species) managed to retain an excellent physical state while also conserving its young population is a worthwhile undertaking.
However, even while this is a wonderful strategy, it is also hazardous. It has been demonstrated that prolonged brooding durations have a negative impact on the degeneration of octopus skin. In particular, when the creature has ceased eating, this is true.
