What was in the depths of this chasm?
Robinson and his colleagues sent submersibles into the Monterey Canyon to collect samples. This massive canyon may be found beneath the surface of the Californian oceans. This depth corresponds to the vertical length of the Grand Canyon. That is indeed a significant amount of area, to say the least.
Among the artifacts was an octopus, which was rather unusual. Aside from that, it appeared to be guarding some unknown object. Sharks, rays, and octopuses can all be found in the canyon, as a variety of other deep-sea creatures. From above, we can see a lot of things going on, but we can’t see everything down beneath with clarity.
