We all love a good blooper reel at the end of an already hilarious movie. And any Marvel/DC superfan will tell you these collective film companies are notorious for allowing mistakes, bloopers, and unscripted improvisations into the final cut of their movies. Some of us film buffs live for these moments. While these clumsy and sometimes hysterical moments weren’t actually in the original scripts, the superhero universe learned very early on that moviegoers adored all the candid, relatable, and all-thumbs moments. Let’s take a look back at all the “could’ve cut scenes” that ended up making the Marvel and DC movies that much better.

Playing Catch with Infinity
As you may or may not remember, when our charming but sometimes clumsy hero Peter Quill attempts to catch a super important orb in Guardians of the Galaxy, containing an infinity stone, he nearly drops it. This blunder was unscripted. It was a real butterfingers moment from Chris Pratt, who when asked about it later said that he was overconfident for most of this film, and this scene is a great example of that.

Since the blooper fit Quill’s character description rather perfectly, Marvel ultimately decided to include the shot in the final cut. I mean, it was one of those ”HaHa” moments because, let’s be honest, realistically, this is exactly how it would go down.
