#21: An Unusual Toy
Every classroom had at least one show-and-tell day where an unusual toy took over the room. It might have been a rubber monster, a wind-up robot, a yo-yo that lit up, a bendable figure, a puzzle cube, a toy from another country, a stuffed animal with a strange sound, or something bought from a gift shop that no one else had seen before. The child who brought it knew its power. This was the attention-grabber, the item that made classmates whisper before the presentation even began.
