#52: A Bold Statement
Ah, America. The land of 2.5 kids, one of which is a dog. Does the owner of this car not like dogs? Is that why they don’t have one? According to Spots.com, “63.4 million or 53% of American households own dogs.” Maybe these people just borrow the dog when they want a canine companion for a little while without all the work.
Dogs are the most prevalent animals owned throughout America, too. While most households only own one dog, cats come in second at 35.7%, with “households keep[ing] an average of 2 cats each.” Wondering about third place? That would be fish! I was hoping for birds, honestly.
