It’s hard to believe the terrifying skeletal robot that stalked Sarah Connor was a veritable masterpiece of practical effects and stop-motion animation. Clever camera work (always) paired with animatronics and puppetry made the machine feel unstoppable, real, and genuinely threatening. A real success where VFX are concerned!
