The 1996-97 Houston Rockets formed an aging NBA superteam by pairing Charles Barkley with Hakeem Olajuwon and Clyde Drexler during the league’s post-Jordan transition years. Houston won 57 games and looked dangerous all season, but chemistry and age became problems. The Rockets lost to the Utah Jazz in the Western Conference Finals.
