#7: Jamming the Play and Fast-Forward Buttons Simultaneously
Despite being a groundbreaking innovation, Walkmans were surprisingly delicate and glitchy. If you weren’t paying attention, you could jam up the mechanisms by accidently hitting the play and fast-forward buttons at the same time. With some fancy button pushing – rewinding and fast-forwarding – it was possible to unjam the buttons.
