#10: Rochester Circle
Rochester Circle remembers Eddie “Rochester” Anderson (1905-1977), the actor who became famous as Jack Benny’s longtime sidekick on The Jack Benny Program (1932). Anderson was one of the highest-paid Black actors in America during the 1940s and 1950s. The street was named after him because he lived in the area.
