#5: Pickford Streets
Pickford Way in Culver City was created to honor silent film legend Mary Pickford (1892-1979), with nearby Fairbanks Way named after her husband Douglas Fairbanks. The streets were developed around Studio Village, near the former MGM and movie studio locations, reflecting the neighborhood’s connection to Hollywood’s golden age.
