#6: Lederer Avenue
Lederer Avenue near the San Fernando Valley honors actor Francis Lederer (1899-2000), a Czech-born performer with a long Hollywood career. He became known for Pandora’s Box (1929), the silent film that helped make Louise Brooks famous. Lederer later owned a large ranch in the area, where the street received its name.
