#7: Shirley Place

Shirley Place in Beverly Hills was named for child star Shirley Temple (1928-2014) during the height of her fame in the 1930s. The street was created in 1934 on a residential development connected to her father, George Temple. At the time, Temple was one of Hollywood’s biggest stars and a major box office draw.
