#4: First TV Commercial: Bulova Watches, 1941

On July 1, 1941, New York’s WNBT aired the first TV commercial in U.S. history. The ten-second ad for Bulova watches was broadcast during the Brooklyn Dodgers-Philadelphia Phillies baseball game. The spot cost the watch company just $9.
