Dana Vollmer
Dana Vollmer is a three-time Olympian who attended the Summer Games in 2004, 2012, and 2016. She missed out in 2008 after placing seventh in the 200-meter freestyle trials. In total, she has five gold medals, two silvers, and two bronze medals.
In 2019 at age 31 years old, Dana announced her retirement from competitive swimming. Her final appearance would take place at the 2019 Philips 66 Championships in the 100-meter butterfly event. When she’s not raising her two children with fellow swimmer Andy Grant, she can you might catch a glimpse of her during the AHA’s Go Red for Women events.
