Katie Hoff
Katie Hoff started began her Olympic career by attending the trials for the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. Sadly, she failed to quality, but in the meantime, she signed a 10-year endorsement deal with Speedo. In the 2008 Olympics, her debut and final appearance, she placed second in the 400-meter freestyle and third in both the 200-meter medley and 400-meter medley events.
In 2014, Katie withdrew from the Mesa Arena Pro Series after experiencing a series of crippling injuries. A year later, she retired from the world of competitive swimming but still helps aspiring athletes attempt to reach their goals through training seminars.
