Kaitlin Sandeno
Kaitlin Sandeno made two Olympic appearances. Her debut in the 2000 Summer Games in Sydney saw her take home a bronze medal in the 800-meter freestyle category while also placing fourth in the 400-meter medley and sixth in the 200-meter butterfly. She would compete again in Athens, where she’d win gold, silver, and bronze after competing in four categories.
In 2008, Kaitlin wasn’t chosen to represent Team USA in Rio de Janeiro, so she announced her retirement from the sport. However, she never strayed too far from the world of sports as she started a new career path as a broadcaster and referee. Her most recent TV appearance was on the ABC game show The Hustler.
