Annie Lazor
Annie Lazor was one of the oldest women to participate in the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. However, at just 27 years old, she still has several years of winning awards ahead of her (we hope!) The Detroit native actually made her Olympic debut in Tokyo and won the bronze in the 200-meter breaststroke competition.
Believe it or not, it was actually after graduating from Auburn University that Annie decided to take her prowess in swimming to the international stage. In 2021, she was nominated for the Golden Goggle Award and won the Perseverance Award. If you ask her what she does during her downtime, it’s sipping coffee and binge-watching Netflix.
