#24: That’s Not What I Signed Up For
If there’s one thing we should’ve learned in the past two years, one lesson we could take from it all, is that we should never go to work – or school – when we’re sick. And we shouldn’t send our kids in, either! If there’s even a sliver of a doubt that they might be sick and contagious, we shouldn’t take the risk, because we might be putting other people’s lives at risk.
Unfortunately, that’s not how it works, and many people still come into work sick or send their kids to school or kindergarten with a nasty cold. And they’re not doing any favors to their kids or the teachers! Why should they catch a cold just because an irresponsible parent decided to send their kid to school? That’s just infuriating.
