#25: Read, Then Ask
Often, teenagers won’t pay attention throughout the year and then panic when the exam period comes around. Suddenly, the kids who were quiet throughout the year are full of questions about the upcoming exams. It only makes sense, then, that they’d be panicked throughout the exam as well.
And one result is that they often ask questions before even reading the directions. They’re so stressed out, they don’t even think straight. Kids love to ask questions before reading the instructions, and if possible, they prefer not to read the instructions at all, but rather have the teacher explain the entire exam to them. And provide the answers while they’re going.
