#29: I’ll Wait
Every teacher in the history of humankind has made this “I’ll wait” face at least once before, and all students are familiar with that face. It’s the face they make when students are acting out in class or talking in class and they’re waiting for them to settle down.
If you ask us, it works a lot better than yelling at the students to stop. It’s also not very appropriate for teachers to yell at their students, so they don’t have a lot of wiggle room. Sometimes, they send the kids to the principal’s office or give them “time out”, but usually after the “I’ll wait” face fails.
