Just a Tiny Quantity of Fluid
It is an undeniable fact that the majority of technical support officers have encountered the following scenario. A client calls them in a panic, explaining that they have spilled liquid all over their laptop and that they need help. Their description continues, describing how they have poured rice all over the keyboard in an attempt to absorb the excess water, but that it does not appear to have had any effect.
A common misconception is that rice can magically repair water-damaged electronics. This is not true. Rice is meant to absorb moisture, not full-blown spills. What this person ended up with is a laptop with cooked rice inside of it.
