April 19, 2022 by Molly Hart

Roller coasters are a lot of fun for thrill-seekers. People love the rush they get when they are on these rides. These are some of the best roller coasters in the world that thrill-seekers will appreciate.

Prowler in Kansas City, Missouri

This is a wooden rollercoaster but it opened up in 2009. The top drop is 85 feet high and the river will go into a spiral. They will pass a ravine, a wood area, and will reach speeds up to 51 miles an hour.

Skyrush, Hershey Park, Pennsylvania

This is a winged roller coast. The cars go 212 feet above the grounds. Riders will then go 75 miles an hour through hills and sharp turns. This ride is less than 60 seconds but the rider will get an adrenaline rush during their time on this rollercoaster.

Goliath in Le Rande, Montreal, Quebec, Canada

These rollercoasters will bring riders up 170 feet and then will then drop at a 70-degree angle. There are turns and hills and the top speed of this ride goes up to 68 miles an hour. With all of the drops and turns, this is one intense ride.

Thunderbird, Holiday World in Santa Claus, Indiana

This is another winged rollercoaster. When the ride takes off it reaches speeds of 60 miles an hour in only three seconds. There are several apps and there is a zero g zone that the riders will go through. While this ride lasts just over a minute riders will be pushed all around and upside down.

Nemesis, Alton Towers, Staffordshire, England

While looking at this coaster people may not be impressed at first. The average height for this coast is 42 feet above the ground but due to the terrain riders will experience a 104 foot drop. The coaster will then go into a corkscrew and there are several loops that riders will need to go through. Riders will experience 0 to 4 Gs from the beginning to the end of the ride which is less than a minute and a half.

These are some of the best rollercoasters in the world. Thrillseekers will find all the rush they need in any of these great coasters.
