Harambe, rest in peace
On May 28, 2016, a three-year-old youngster at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden climbed into the gorilla enclosure. Harambe, a 17-year-old silverback gorilla, approached the tiny kid. The huge gorilla then grabbed the child and dragged him away.
The zookeepers decided to fatally shoot the animal after ten minutes of debilitating anxiety and shouts from the onlookers. After much thought, it appeared that murdering the infant was the only way to preserve his life.
