When Walker was ready, he started to establish some lofty aspirations for his future self. After all, the purpose of this new way of living was to push him to his limits.
He successfully crossed the English Channel in 2008 by swimming. When he concluded that this wasn’t enough of a test, he went on to the next one: crossing the Strait of Gibraltar.
Walker, on the other hand, would not be your typical endurance swimmer. To be the finest swimmer in this strait, he had to push himself farther than anybody else. That’s how Walker made his way to the other side of the Strait. He was the first and only Englishman to accomplish this accomplishment.
