#1: Watering at Night Does Not Automatically Cause Disease
The idea that evening watering leads to fatal fungus is overstated. Fungal issues depend more on humidity, airflow, and plant spacing than on the hour you water. While wet leaves overnight can contribute to problems in some conditions, watering at the soil level in the evening is often perfectly safe. In hot climates, it can even reduce evaporation and conserve water.
