#17: My Fair Lady (1964)
Audrey Hepburn was charming, but My Fair Lady didn’t click with every Boomer. The long runtime and old-fashioned tone made it feel dated even then.
The songs were fine, but the pacing and stuffy dialogue made it a tough sit. Boomers preferred something more modern and less theatrical by the mid-’60s.
