#18: Oliver! (1968)
Another musical that wore out its welcome, Oliver! was sweet but exhausting. The songs came one after another, and by the end, most viewers were just ready for quiet.
Boomers appreciated the craftsmanship but found the film too long and repetitive. What was meant to be cheerful ended up feeling more like a chore.
