Only The Best
Archey made it abundantly clear in the letter that she wished nothing but the best for the new owner and did not feel resentment toward them for taking her much-loved car into their possession. Archey’s only wish, expressed through a heartbreaking display of goodwill and generosity, was for Sylvia’s legacy to continue, as well as for the memories of her deceased family to be passed down to a subsequent generation.
She wrote in the note, “I’m not mad at you.” I really hope that this car turns out to be the nicest vehicle you’ve ever owned. I really hope it keeps going for another hundred years. I really hope there are children, toys, and other miscellaneous items in the backseat.”
