Grateful And Honored
Archey’s letter was overwhelmingly appreciative and positive, which is surprising given the extremely tragic circumstances that surrounded the car and the memories that were contained within it. She was not lamenting the passing of these joyful times; rather, she was expressing her gratitude and honor at having been able to participate in them.
In the touching letter, she reflected on the fond memories of “we took road trips, blared 80s and country music, and rolled the windows down.” “I can’t even count how many times I’ve had to change diapers in the back seat of the car. Probably tucked away somewhere is a crayon or a sucker stick that belonged to my little one when they were younger. Perhaps a chicken nugget in its entirety. Ha!”
