Scientists were still piecing together the puzzle
The researchers were well aware that they had a unique discovery in their hands. For the first time, a fully preserved 500-year-old body was available for research. So, Dr. Carlos Previgliano of the Louisiana State University Health Shreveport evaluated the three Incan youngsters.
The last days of these youngsters compelled him to attempt to put together their lives. Previgliano conducted over 500 CT scans to uncover what had happened to them. CT scans for mummies were never employed by Previgliano, though. Would anything be revealed by these scans? What new information did he rediscover?
