#10: Fishermen and the First Catch Released
Some fishermen keep the first catch. Others send it back. The release can be practical, personal, or superstitious, depending on the boat and the person holding the line. In many fishing communities, returning the first fish is treated as a gesture of respect, a small offering to the water before the day really begins. It says, in its own quiet way, that the trip is not only about taking. There is patience in the habit, and maybe a little humility too.
