#20: Doctors and the Full Moon Shift
Hospitals are full of people who trust evidence, training, and procedure, yet the full moon still has a way of entering break-room conversation. Many doctors and nurses will tell you that nights under a bright moon feel busier, stranger, or more emotionally charged, especially in emergency departments and psychiatric care. Research has not consistently supported the idea that lunar phases cause hospital chaos, which matters. Still, the belief remains because medical workers remember vivid nights, odd clusters, and the stories that get repeated after a shift finally ends.
