#20: A Bold, Aggressive Style of Play
The biggest symbolic shift may be psychological. The USMNT no longer wants to survive big games by sitting deep and hoping for one heroic counterattack. The goal now is to press, run, attack space, force turnovers, and make opponents uncomfortable. That approach is not always smooth, and against elite nations it can get exposed fast. But it is watchable, ambitious, and necessary. A rising team eventually has to stop asking permission.
