#6: A Clock That Was Either Broken or Mockingly Slow
Whether we’ve gone through a time change and someone forgot to reset the clock, or the batteries are on their last leg (or dead altogether), waiting room clocks are seldom, and we mean SELDOM, ever accurate. It’s as if you’ve entered a space-time continuum where life is flying past as you spend every painfully slow minute waiting for your name to be called so they can jab at your teeth with a tiny, sharp pick.
