#9: Climbing Trees and Making Treehouses
This classic childhood pastime is still very much enjoyed by kids today who are allowed time to commune with nature. Treehouses, though potentially dangerous, can still be seen in many backyards around the country. And in a time before structured play dates and too much screen time, climbing trees and meeting the gang in the secret hideout were totally normal parts of a well-rounded childhood.
