40 Times Comebacks on the Internet Were Too Funny Not to Share

Upon seeing his book mentioned in this thread, I can only imagine the whirlwind of emotions this acclaimed science author must be experiencing. On the one hand, it’s insulting to be told your textbook made someone cry, but on the other hand, being mentioned at all for your physics textbook is probably quite thrilling.

They say there’s no such thing as bad publicity, and I guess that’s only too true for Roger Freedman. And, of course, as is only fitting for a physics professor (or at least all those I’m familiar with), his response is biting while maintaining a friendly style with a good sense of humor.
