Escape to Margaritaville is a 2017 musical featuring Jimmy Buffett’s hit songs, including the iconic “Margaritaville,” which he wrote after getting stuck on a Florida Keys bridge.
The show, with a book by Greg Garcia and Mike O’Malley, premiered at La Jolla Playhouse and later toured nationally. Beyond the stage, Buffett built a “Margaritaville” empire of restaurants, resorts, and casinos.
